ON NOVEMBER 15, 2018
On November 15, 2018, the Forum on the Management of Seized Assets, organized by the National Agency of Ukraine for finding, tracing and management of assets derived from corruption and other crimes (ARMA), and the European Union Anti-Corruption Initiative, will be held at the Premier Palace Hotel. The goal of the forum is to establish a dialogue between ARMA and the business community, create a platform for an open discussion of the benefits and specifics of cooperation in the field of seized-asset management, and develop a market for the management of seized property in Ukraine.
Among other things, the forum will cover key issues of cooperation between ARMA and business, asset management trends, tools for effective business and state cooperation, procedures for transferring seized assets to management, specific management of certain types of seized assets, and international experience. Among other speakers at the forum will be the head of ARMA, Anton Yanchuk, and the head of the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative, Eka Tkeshelashvili.
The forum will be beneficial, first and foremost, to companies interested in the management of seized assets, or considering such an opportunity in the future, and would like to learn more information about the benefits and specifics of managing seized assets. The event will also be of interest to representatives of other government agencies and non-governmental organizations, who want to learn more about the specifics of ARMA’s activities.
For business associations and international experts, the forum will be helpful as a platform for establishing professional contacts and government-business cooperation, as well as for exchanging experience in the management of seized assets.
